AfriCap Microfinance Network

The AfriCap Portfolio companies have created a network to allow for cross fertilisation of ideas and to engage in business enhancing initiatives.

The purpose of the network is to:

• Provide a powerful platform of exchange between AfriCap portfolio companies enabling knowledge sharing initiatives between the AfriCap MFI's.
• Hold an annual conference which allows the CEO's of the portfolio companies to convene and exchange ideas and concerns related to the management of their microfinance institutions.

Specific knowledge sharing initiatives include:

• Risk management tools
• Growth strategy
• MIS implementation and branchless banking
• Access to local debt financing
• Governance
